A tragic turn of events in Atebubu, Bono East Region, saw a long-standing friendship end in violence when Baba Adongo, a 40-year-old truck pusher, fatally attacked his 42-year-old friend, Isaac Tarior, also known as Ogoro.
The brutal incident took place around 9 a.m. on January 29, 2025, in the Kombaline suburb of Atebubu. The two men had been friends for over five years before the attack occurred.
Following the assault, Isaac’s body was sent to the mortuary, while Baba Adongo is now in police custody, where he is cooperating with authorities as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
