Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, has dismissed recent allegations that food distributed to party agents during the elections was rejected.
In a statement, Ursula condemned the claims as false, malicious, and part of a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. She clarified that no such incident took place, stressing that the media report was factually incorrect and violated journalistic standards.
The Communications Minister also criticized the media for failing to verify the information before publication.
Ursula reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people of Ablekuma West with honesty and integrity, emphasizing her ongoing efforts to focus on the welfare of her constituents.
She further stated that all the logistical support provided during the election was warmly accepted by party agents and expressed concern over the harm caused by irresponsible journalism, which undermines public trust and creates unnecessary divisions.
Reassuring her constituents, Ursula urged them to disregard the false reports and remain focused on the development and unity of Ablekuma West, emphasizing the need for collective effort to achieve success in the constituency.
