West Ham United have sacked manager Julen Lopetegui after just six months in charge.
The club made the decision following a disappointing run of results, including a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
Lopetegui, who replaced David Moyes in May, has struggled to improve the team’s fortunes, with the club currently sitting 14th in the Premier League table, just seven points above the relegation zone.
The club has reportedly held talks with former Chelsea and Brighton boss Graham Potter about potentially succeeding Lopetegui on an interim basis.
This decision comes after a difficult period for West Ham, with the club seeking to turn around their fortunes and improve their league position.
